The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a highly motivated, friendly, full time Medical Assistant.  We are a multi-location practice with locations in Englewood, NJ,  Fort Lee, NJ, Riverdale, NY and Bardonia, NY. Hiring for our Englewood and Riverdale locations.Responsibilities Include:Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for patientsRoom and perform vitals signsTake a detailed History of present illnessPrior authorizations for medicationsFollow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentialityCollaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operationsAssist with administrative tasks such as faxing, and scanning documentsQualifications:Able to reliably commute to your scheduled location. Must be able to commute to at least 2 of our other locations as needed. (Tolls to our Riverdale location reimbursed)Completion of Medical Assisting course preferred or relevant experienceValid CPR Certification2 years of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
