Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy strategies to support their journey toward independence.
• Implement Therapeutic Exercises: Use evidence-based approaches to refine patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing personnel to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Share valuable insights with patients and their loved ones regarding therapeutic techniques to promote progress outside of sessions.
• Document Progress and Adjust Plans: Systematically monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as needed to keep patients on track.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement of continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
