Product Manager, Protein Expression

Own the life cycle of assigned product lines in the Protein Expression business Manage revenue, margin, customer happiness, market share, pricing/margin optimization, and customer value continuum objectives Develop and drive short- and mid-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning Analyze competition and market gaps to identify new product directions Conduct voice-of-customer research Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve margins, reduce costs, maintain quality, and meet delivery targets Lead product management for new product introductions, including definition, development, positioning, pricing, profitability, market introduction, and sales training Support product inventory planning with manufacturing and planning teams Lead projects improving operational and business efficiencies across the Delivery, Engineering and Expression business segment Collaborate with global and regional marketing, commercial teams, and customers to foster the product and market Requirements Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience preferred, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience preferred in product management, marketing, or related commercial experience Preferred fields of study: Life Sciences, Biologics or related field Proven success in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models Excellence in gathering and synthesizing Voice of Customer insights Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills in matrix environment Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels Experience developing and executing product launch strategies and go-to-market plans Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution Project management skills to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives Customer-centric mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics Up to 25% travel required, including international Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization, with a strong focus on customer-centric strategies and market dynamics.
