Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Oncology

Role RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician responsible for administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and hazardous drugs in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Provide safe, patient-centred care considering age and cultural needs. Use evidence-based practices, perform the nursing process, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Serve as a resource for staff and medical teams, participate in staff development, and support quality improvement initiatives. Assist in protocol development, promote research and evidence-based practice, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse, knowledgeable in oncology infusion therapies, with ongoing professional development. Ability to work in a team, demonstrate critical thinking, and uphold ethical standards. Experience in chemotherapy administration and cultural competence is essential. Key Duties Perform assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in continuous education. May serve as a preceptor and contribute to performance improvement activities.
