A health services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed professional to join their outpatient behavioral health facility in Brooklyn as a Medical Director - Psychiatry. This part-time leadership role combines direct psychiatric care with clinical supervision, collaboration, and program support in a community health setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Part-time
• Hours: 15 hours per week
• Setting: Outpatient behavioral health clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients within the specialty area
• Deliver direct psychiatric and addiction treatment using evidence-based standards and best practices
• Supervise clinical activities, documentation, and follow-up procedures for psychiatric providers
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants and maintain productive clinical partnerships
• Participate in multidisciplinary planning, quality improvement efforts, and regulatory compliance initiatives

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree, such as an MD or DO
• Board certification in Adult Psychiatry or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Board certification in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry
• Active buprenorphine license or eligibility to obtain one
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
