About This Role

The Harrisville Children's Center seeks an Associate Teacher for the Infant Program with a flexible schedule option, including part-time and full-time positions, as well as opportunities for subbing in other classrooms. The role can start between April 27, 2026, and August 17, 2026. The center is a play-based/nature-based program for children ages 6 weeks-6 years old, emphasizing outdoor activities, and is located in the village of Harrisville, NH.

We require applicants to love the outdoors and be prepared to engage enthusiastically with children in an outdoor setting. Children are outside for large parts of every day, regardless of the weather.

I. To develop and implement an afternoon early childhood program for infants aged 6 weeks to approximately 18 months old. Specific duties will be discussed during the interviewing process.

NH Child Care Licensing allows various options to meet the qualifications of an associate teacher in a NH child care program. If unsure about qualifications, please inquire during the application process.

Applicants must be nurturing, patient, respectful, and warm with young children. Love for nature and readiness to spend significant time outdoors are also essential.
