Job Type: Full-time Position Title Assistant Branch Manager – Naples, FL Responsibilities Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing retail growth and profitability. Maximize sales/production by coaching and developing staff, establishing legendary customer service, controlling expenses, coordinating staff efforts, and performing other branch operation tasks. Hire, train, direct, and communicate performance expectations; evaluate employee performance; recommend promotions, transfers, salary adjustments; identify performance problems and take action, including termination. Maintain highly qualified staff; manage floater pool. Develop and coach staff to provide legendary customer service, upholding non-negotiables. Engage, motivate, and lead staff to achieve branch goals; grow customers; increase product usage; cross-sell and refer bank products; generate deposit fee income. Monitor teller line for compliance; resolve compliance issues. Schedule and monitor daily staff activities, including transaction approvals. Order daily cash requirements; manage cash vault limits and staff cash limits. Uphold security policies; support Security Coordinator. Ensure deposit, cash, and online posting differences are reviewed and corrected daily. Provide backup for staff as needed; uphold all staff responsibilities. Education & Experience Two to five years of similar or related experience. Sound judgment and decision‑making skills. Proficiency with math calculations. Computer proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment. Excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills. Sales ability and persuasiveness. Interpersonal skills, trust, diplomacy, courtesy, and tact. Exceptional customer service, sales, leadership, teamwork, and management skills. Working knowledge of bank operations. Ability to develop and achieve group goals in accordance with defined parameters. Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and location. Working Conditions The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work‑related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
