We supply the equipment that builds communities, restores disaster zones, and drives industries forward. We are looking for an experienced  Equipment Mechanic to join our branch team. What You’ll Do

• Maintain & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and overhauls on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems for excavators, boom lifts, generators, and industrial pumps.

• Inspect: Complete pre- and post-rental safety checks so every machine leaves the yard 100% job-site ready.

• Troubleshoot: Use diagnostic tools and schematics to pinpoint electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues quickly.

• Document: Keep clean, accurate work orders and track parts using our fleet system.

What You Bring

• Experience: 1–3+ years working on diesel engines, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.

• Skills:  understanding of hydraulics, 12V/24V electrical diagnostics, and engine fault codes.

• Tools: Your own set of standard mechanics' hand tools (we help with tool allowances and program discounts).

• Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and a valid Driver’s License. Trade certification or CDL is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, engine diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and fuel delivery networks.

• Fleet Inspection: Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-rental inspections to verify equipment is safe, operational, and meets safety compliance standards.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and component servicing across a diverse fleet (e.g., excavators, booms, scissor lifts, generators, pumps).

• Field & Shop Service: Perform work primarily in a shop setting, with occasional field service calls to client job sites as needed.

• Documentation: Log service records, work orders, parts usage, and inspection reports accurately in the fleet management system.

• Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe, clean shop environment in strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
