Director OF Manufacturing

Director of Manufacturing Operations Location: West Chester, OH Pay: $120-$150k/yr Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations Management, or related field required. 8–10+ years of manufacturing management experience with cross-functional oversight in fabrication, assembly, materials management, quality, and process improvement. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing managers/supervisors, improving team performance, and leading organizational change. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; Friedman AS400 experience preferred. Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, scorecard metrics, and understanding of financial statements. Ability to manage multiple priorities, enforce safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality and customer service. Responsibilities Lead and develop direct reports including Production, Shipping, and Maintenance leadership while managing hiring, performance, attendance, and employee development. Oversee daily manufacturing operations with a focus on people, quality, service, cost, safety, and operational efficiency. Identify operational challenges, implement corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives. Monitor manufacturing processes, quality systems, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations. Develop and track operational scorecards, using performance metrics to drive accountability and organizational improvement. Create and manage annual operating budgets, including revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and capacity planning initiatives. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term strategic goals, support company growth initiatives, and improve overall operational scalability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
