About the Job The EHS Supervisor leads, develops, sustains, and administers a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe, compliant, and incident‑free workplace. What You'll Do Lead and oversee the health and effectiveness of safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices, developing practices and programs to correct or reduce their occurrence. Investigate and respond to employee complaints to provide high‑quality internal customer service. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, tracking theme‑based corrective and preventive actions to closure. Investigate safety incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; determine themes, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Review company accident statistics, themes, and recommend corrections to improve employee health and safety. Review and update safety policies, procedures, JSAs, SOPs, and emergency response plans. Monitor safety metrics and KPIs; prepare reports and present findings in site daily operational reviews. Coordinate with departments to support injury prevention, return‑to‑work, and workers’ compensation initiatives. Process workers’ compensation claims ensuring responsiveness, accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness. Act as liaison with the EHS Manager during regulatory inspections and audits. Monitor monthly PPE usage and spending. Develop, plan, and conduct training programs to ensure understanding of and compliance with company policies and procedures. Attend and participate in department safety meetings. Act as an active member of the Safety Excellence Pillar. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5+ years of progressive safety experience in industrial, food manufacturing, construction, or logistics environments. Proven experience leading or supervising safety teams. Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems. Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis. Professional safety certifications preferred (CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or equivalent). Strong leadership and coaching abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence safety behavior at all organizational levels. Analytical and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Word and Excel. Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and employee development and training. Knowledge of labor regulations, workers’ compensation, and related regulatory developments. Effective interpersonal skills at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to interpret safety or health problems or anomalies and identify appropriate solutions. Compensation Pay range: $80,000 – $100,000. Base pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
