About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President / Project Executive to spearhead its U.S. Military construction initiatives in the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership in business development, proposal strategy, and client engagement for U.S. Federal construction projects. This role demands a seasoned professional with over 20 years' experience in the construction industry, particularly in U.S. military construction, and a proven track record of overseeing complex projects valued at $100M or more. Key responsibilities include leading project delivery from preconstruction to closeout, establishing project execution strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with federal clients, especially those within the Air Force. Applicants for this senior executive position should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, although this is preferred rather than mandatory. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in both horizontal and vertical construction, including experience with airfield infrastructure and facilities construction on military installations. The ideal candidate will have a history of working with NAVFAC and USACE, and experience with Air Force clients is strongly preferred. The position demands excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to provide leadership across various project management and operational aspects. The role is initially U.S.-based with the expectation of frequent international travel, and there is a potential for relocation to the UK as the company's project portfolio expands.
