TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support local delivery operations based in Berlin, CT .
Temp-to-Hire: This position offers steady, full-time work, consistent local routes, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Pay: $24.00 per hour
- Route Type: Local
- Delivery Area: Local storefronts and small warehouses
- Freight / Load Type: General freight
- Equipment: Box truck / delivery vehicle
- Handling: Touch freight – drivers will load, unload, and deliver freight to customers
- Home Time: Home Daily
Non-CDL Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: Valid state-issued driver's license
- Experience: Prior commercial delivery, route driving, or box truck experience preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to safely load and unload freight
- Ability to lift and handle freight as required
- Must meet all applicable DOT and company safety requirements
Non-CDL Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle on local routes
- Deliver freight to storefronts and small warehouse locations
- Load and unload freight using proper handling techniques
- Verify deliveries and obtain required signatures
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment
