Job Title: PCU Registered Nurse Location: Charleston, WV Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1811.47 - 1902.04 Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night, 4x12-Hour) Contract Length: 36 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: Two years of current experience; BLS; ACLS; chest tube insertion assistance, management, and removal experience; central line experience; external/internal pacemakers and wound vacs experience; WV RN license; Covid vaccine (medical/religious exemptions considered); good with float within scope of practice; open to scheduling requests; open to accommodations within 100-mile radius.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care for post-op open heart and cardiovascular patients in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor patients requiring cardiac and thoracic post-surgical monitoring, including management of chest tubes, central lines, and pacemakers.
• Assist with wound vacs and other specialized procedures within scope of practice.
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs.
• Adhere to the hospital's protocols, including medication management and patient safety standards.
