Responsibilities
- Deliver direct RN care in Labor & Delivery, including postpartum and newborn care, couplet care, and OBGYN post-op patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications per orders, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal, and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Perform accurate assessments, document findings, and update care plans accordingly
- Support the care team with newborn nursery duties and lactation support as needed
- Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and patient-rights guidelines

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA only) certifications
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience
- Must have completed at least 2 prior travel contracts; no first-time travelers
- Must be over 45 miles from the facility; mileage to be listed on submission packet
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts
- On-site drug screen as part of compliance; DS required
