This position involves providing direct patient care in a pre-operative setting within a 90-bed PACU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on post-treatment management, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Critical nursing skills are essential to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. This role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as priorities.
