Metal Fabricator / AssemblerThe Metal Fabricator / Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling aluminum structures and components per design specifications. This hands-on role includes reading CAD drawings, operating shop tools and equipment, and assembling finished parts with precision and efficiency. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a production environment. This role is essential in supporting the quality and consistency of our manufactured solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesMetal Fabrication & Assembly Cut aluminum stock to length using large saws and precision cutting tools.Drill, tap, and deburr materials as needed.Assemble components to match CAD design specifications using appropriate tools and fasteners.Ensure final assembly quality aligns with customer and engineering requirements.Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation Read and interpret CAD drawings and technical blueprints accurately.Identify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications from prints.Tool & Equipment Operation Operate hand tools, drill press, chop saw, and other shop equipment safely and effectively.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Collaboration & Process Improvement Communicate with engineers and project managers to clarify designs and resolve discrepancies.Recommend improvements in fabrication techniques or tooling for efficiency.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:2+ years of experience in a fabrication, assembly, or machining environment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Experience operating saws, drill presses, and hand tools.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not required.Forklift certification
