Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity

Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our new Orthopedic division within the Department of Surgery.

The ideal candidate must have completed a five-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency and be Board Eligible/Board Certified from the ABOS or AOBOS. Specialists should have completed a one-year Fellowship in a subspecialty. The new adult Orthopedic Division will provide specific orthopedic care to adult patients treating ages 18 - geriatric, prioritizing big joint and arthroscopic surgery.

The surgeon should have a passion for teaching and mentoring residents and students in a collaborative, academic, and patient-centered environment. This position also provides opportunities for involvement in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified from the ABOS or AOBOS
• Completed an accredited Orthopedic Residency Program
