We are seeking an experienced insurance sales professional who can build trust quickly, identify customer needs, confidently recommend solutions, follow up consistently, and close business. This is a production-driven sales position , not simply an insurance service role. You will work both warm and cold opportunities, develop new business, grow existing customer relationships, and build a consistent pipeline. Compensation - How This Opportunity Works This position provides a guaranteed base salary of approximately $30,000-$35,000 plus uncapped commission based on individual production. The base is only one component of the compensation opportunity. Strong performers can exceed $80,000 in total annual compensation, with earnings increasing based on individual production. There is no fixed ceiling on commission earnings. Important Commission income is earned through individual production and is not guaranteed. Total compensation will vary significantly based on sales results. This opportunity is best suited to someone who is confident in their ability to produce and wants their earnings to reflect their performance. What You'll Do Sell insurance products to new and existing customers. Work both warm and cold sales opportunities. Develop new business through calls, follow-up, referrals, and relationship development. Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Prepare and present quotes. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers. Follow up persistently with prospects who are not ready to buy immediately. Cross-sell appropriate products within existing customer relationships. Develop long-term client relationships that support retention and growth. Track activity and progress toward established production goals. Maintain appropriate documentation and regulatory compliance. What We're Looking For Active applicable Property & Casualty insurance licensing. Previous insurance sales/production experience. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Direct experience asking for and closing business. Comfort working both warm leads and outbound opportunities. Strong communication and relationship-building ability. Consistent follow-up habits and personal accountability. Ability to work independently and remain accountable for individual production. Willingness to attend initial in-person onboarding in Ridgeley, WV. You'll Be Especially Interesting to Us If... Onboarding & Potential Remote Work Candidates must be able to attend initial in-person onboarding and training at the agency office in Ridgeley, West Virginia, immediately adjacent to Cumberland, Maryland . Following successful onboarding, remote work may be considered based on experience, performance, training needs, and agency requirements.
