Construction Superintendent

An established Miami General Contractor is looking to hire experienced Construction Superintendents for a strong pipeline of commercial projects across Miami-Dade. Projects will include commercial renovations and improvement work, with upcoming projects including school renovations and work at Miami International Airport. Due to the nature of these projects, this position will predominantly involve night work. Candidates must be comfortable working nights and flexible schedules when projects require it. This is a great opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys running fast-moving commercial projects and wants consistent work with an established local contractor. What You'll Be Doing Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel Drive schedules and ensure key project milestones are achieved Manage work in active and occupied environments Coordinate inspections and subcontractor activities Maintain site safety, quality and organization Review drawings, specifications and project documentation Identify and resolve field issues Communicate regularly with Project Managers and the wider project team Manage punch lists and project closeout What We're Looking For Previous Superintendent experience with a General Contractor Commercial construction or renovation experience Experience working on occupied or operational facilities is beneficial Strong subcontractor and schedule management skills Ability to read plans and specifications Strong communication and leadership skills Spanish-speaking is highly preferred Must be comfortable working predominantly night shifts Experience with airport, aviation, education, healthcare, retail or other occupied commercial projects would be particularly relevant.
