STAFFING:

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN 8 RNs Unit Secretary (US) 24 patients Night Shift: 1 Charge RN 8 RNs 24 patients

TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE

MUST HAVE:

Accountability for their actions Knowledge of cardiac drips, including: Amiodarone Nitroglycerin Cardene Cardizem

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

Excellent communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team At least 6 months of PCU experience

TYPICAL PROCEDURES / PATIENT POPULATION:

Post-op care following: CABG

AVR/MVR

Aortic root repairs LVAD procedures Immediate post-VATS care, including chest tubes Post-vascular surgery care Pre- and post-cath lab procedures Pre- and post-EP procedures, including: Pacemaker AICD Heart catheterizations PCI TAVR Bedside procedures: Paracentesis Thoracentesis PICC insertion
