Physical Therapist

Position: Physical Therapist Salary Range: $41-50/hr (Based on experience and qualifications) Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Employment Type: Full-time Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. Our facility offers a range of services including post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum physical potential and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and monitor treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall physical function
• Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to help patients achieve their goals
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
• Document all treatment and progress notes accurately and timely
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
