Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including readiness of the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medication, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
