Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist with the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by analyzing imaging exams and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments, managing patient positioning, and transferring surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
