Senior Manager, Global Social & Influencer Marketing - Bed Head

The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Social & Influencer Marketing to become the voice and storyteller behind Bed Head’s consumer engagement strategy. This is not a traditional social media management role. You’ll own the strategy across social, influencer, community, and earned media , while also being hands‑on in bringing the work to life. You’ll develop the strategy, create and guide content, manage the day‑to‑day community, build relationships with creators and influencers, partner with agencies, monitor performance, and identify the cultural moments that can make Bed Head relevant and exciting to today’s consumer. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on — someone who can build a compelling social strategy in the morning and jump into content, community engagement, creator briefs, or trend research in the afternoon. What You’ll Own Develop and execute Bed Head’s global social and influencer strategy in partnership with the Brand Go‑to‑Market Lead. Translate broader brand and product priorities into compelling consumer‑facing social strategies. Own the monthly content calendar across Bed Head’s owned social channels. Develop and/or create social content, including copy, imagery, concepts, and platform‑specific adaptations. Ensure Bed Head’s social presence consistently reflects the brand’s distinctive personality and voice. Community & Consumer Engagement Serve as the day‑to‑day community voice across owned social channels. Publish content, engage with consumers, respond to comments and questions, and moderate conversations. Build an active and authentic community around the Bed Head brand. Identify opportunities to turn consumer conversations and cultural moments into content and engagement opportunities. Influencer & Creator Marketing Build and execute Bed Head’s influencer and creator strategy. Identify emerging and established beauty, hair, lifestyle, and culture creators who authentically fit the brand. Partner with agencies and internal marketing teams to develop creator campaigns and UGC programs. Manage creator briefs, deliverables, timelines, contracts, usage rights, and budgets. Develop long‑term relationships with creators who can become authentic brand advocates. PR & Earned Media Develop earned‑media narratives that bring Bed Head’s 30‑year salon heritage into today’s cultural conversation. Identify stories, launches, trends, and brand moments that have PR potential. Partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders to develop compelling media opportunities. Help strengthen Bed Head’s relevance within the beauty, haircare, lifestyle, and cultural conversation. Stay deeply connected to social, beauty, haircare, creator, and cultural trends. Monitor competitive brands and social channels to identify emerging opportunities. Bring fresh ideas and cultural insights to the broader marketing organization. Understand what is resonating with Millennial and Gen Z audiences and translate those insights into actionable brand opportunities. Performance & Optimization Establish and monitor KPIs across social, influencer, content, and engagement programs. Analyze performance and continuously optimize content and campaigns. Partner with agencies on social listening, trend tracking, reporting, and crisis management. Use data and consumer insights to understand what is driving engagement, awareness, consideration, and ultimately brand growth. Agency & Cross‑Functional Leadership Lead relationships with external social, influencer, PR, and creative agencies. Brief agencies, provide creative direction, review deliverables, and manage timelines and budgets. Partner closely with the Global Head of Brand, Brand Go‑to‑Market Lead, and broader Marketing organization. Connect social, influencer, PR, content, and product priorities into one cohesive consumer engagement strategy. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, consumer engagement, brand marketing, or related disciplines. Experience in beauty, haircare, personal care, CPG, fashion, lifestyle, or another highly consumer‑driven category strongly preferred. Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand growth. Hands‑on experience managing influencer and creator programs from strategy through execution. Experience managing social, influencer, PR, or creative agencies. Strong copywriting skills and an understanding of how to create content that feels native to each social platform. Comfortable with basic graphic design and content editing; able to make simple social assets and adaptations independently. Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms . Deep understanding of Millennial and Gen Z culture, trends, creators, and online communities. Strong creative instincts with the ability to recognize what will resonate before it becomes mainstream. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, agencies, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously. Existing relationships within the beauty, hair, creator, influencer, or media ecosystem are a strong plus.
