LHH Talent - - Responsibilities: Analyze Records: Review patient medical charts, physician notes, and clinical documentation to identify all diagnoses and procedures; Assign Codes: Translate medical services into universal, standardized alphanumeric codes using ICD-10 (diagnoses), CPT (procedures), and HCPCS (equipment and supplies) sets; Maintain Compliance: Ensure all codes align strictly with federal regulations, OIG guidelines, and HIPAA; Claims Processing: Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to third-party insurance payers; Insurance Follow-up: Track claim statuses and investigate, correct, and appeal denied or rejected claims; Patient Collections: Calculate patient deductibles and copayments, issue billing statements, and set up payment plan
