Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Recent school-based experience or strong pediatric background
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working with educators, families, and support staff
• Organizational skills for effective caseload management and documentation
• Flexibility and creativity to tailor interventions to a diverse student population
• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop targeted intervention strategies that support motor development, mobility, and functional independence
• Deliver direct physical therapy services and consultative support according to students’ IEPs
• Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, session notes, and progress reports
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise on student needs and services
• Function as a resource to teachers and school staff, providing techniques and guidance for accommodations and classroom modifications
