Manufacturing Assembly Technician

We design and manufacture steel and polyurethane forming equipment used by precast concrete manufacturers around the world.We're looking for an Assembly Technician who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in building things well, and wants to be part of a dependable, collaborative team. Whether you bring previous manufacturing experience or are ready to learn a skilled trade, we'll give you the training, tools, and support needed to succeed. As an Assembly Technician, you'll help build the equipment, components, and molds our manufacturing partners rely on. Our typical production schedule is Monday through Thursday, with four 10-hour shifts. Some Friday work may be needed, and additional overtime may be available for employees who want it.Your responsibilities will include and may not be limited to:Assembling product components and forming equipment according to specifications, drawings, work orders, and bills of materialsUsing hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectivelyOperating cranes and forklifts once properly trained and authorizedInspecting completed assemblies and subassemblies for proper fit, finish, tolerances, and overall qualityWorking closely with teammates, production leaders, and other departments to solve problems and keep work movingIdentifying and promptly reporting equipment issues, defects, or production disruptionsParticipating in corrective actions and continuous-improvement effortsPackaging, staging, and palletizing completed products for shipment or the next step in productionMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollowing all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policiesAssisting in other areas of production as team and business needs changeYou'll be successful in this role if you:Take pride in quality workmanship and pays attention to detailEnjoy hands-on work and learning new skillsCan read and follow detailed instructions; experience reading drawings or prints is helpfulHave good manual dexterity and is comfortable using hand and power toolsCan stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 80 poundsSome previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
