Position Details:

• School-based setting, working 1:1 with a PreK student
• Contract dates: ASAP through May 25, 2027
• 30 hours per week
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families
• Interpret in classrooms, meetings, events, and extracurricular activities
• Support educational access for assigned student(s)
• Collaborate with teachers and special education team members
• Adhere to professional and confidentiality standards
• Implement accommodations as outlined in student IEPs

Qualifications:

• Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification/credentials (EIPA 3.5+)
• Experience in educational or children’s settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable
