Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview: This position supports store operations by assisting in employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service to ensure efficient store functioning. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training of store personnel. Support merchandising efforts by staging, stocking, and pricing merchandise according to store standards. Manage inventory processes, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels, and prepare inventories. Ensure product availability to meet or exceed in-stock targets. Provide excellent customer service and act as a role model for store policies and procedures. Participate in store opening and closing activities, maintain safety and security, and handle cash responsibly. Review sales and expense data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment. Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is advantageous. Work Environment & Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, and driving.
