Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner- Outpatient, ACT Team

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - An innovative and well-respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions is seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work on an Assertive Community Team (ACT) in the Bronx, NY.

The practitioner will work Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm. No nights, No weekends and no call.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides community based psychiatric services to clients on the team and will also be responsible for treatment planning, medication evaluation, education, prescriptions and monitoring, ordering and follow-up of laboratory tests, documentation in Electronic Health Record; and collaboration with others involved in the treatment of clients.

This is not an office-based position so the successful candidate must be enthusiastic about providing services in the field.
