RN Nurse Manager - Inpatient Crisis Psychiatric

RN Nurse Manager – Bridges Acute Care Crisis Psychiatric Unit Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center – San Pedro, CA. This is a full‑time leadership position responsible for delivering high quality nursing care and administratively managing the inpatient nursing unit with over 50 full‑time employees on a 24‑hour basis. The RN Nurse Manager fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager role, including supervisory oversight, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee clinical operations, staffing, and workflow for the psychiatric acute care unit. Lead, mentor, and supervise a multidisciplinary team of credentialed nurses and support staff. Maintain compliance with state licensure, hospital policies, and accreditation standards. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Coordinate with clinical leadership for resource management, budgeting, and scheduling. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire. Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications 3 years recent RN experience in Inpatient Acute Psychiatric care. 2 years recent leadership experience as a Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager in Inpatient Acute Psychiatric settings.
