About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry/step-down experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry/step-down experience required EGG and cardiac drips experience Description: Position available for a registered nurse with a specialty in telemetry. Start date is 3-4 weeks from compliance completion. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:4-5. Every other weekend shift is required. On-call requirement is not applicable. Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling is not available. Guaranteed hours are included in the contract. Telemetry and step-down experience are required. Knowledge and skills must include accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Experience with cardiac telemetry and central line care is essential. Candidates must have skills in IV management and hemodynamic monitoring. The unit serves adult patients with various cardiac-related diagnoses. Additional unit responsibilities may include cardiac catheterization and pacemaker placement. Candidates should have a working knowledge of echo tests and stress tests. Relias EKG test is required prior to placement. RTO restrictions allow a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract.
