PRN Psychiatrist Opportunity
Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts at Forsyth Medical Center and Thomasville Medical Center.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Day Shift
- Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our respective units
- Option to pick up shifts at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC (51 bed adult unit) and Thomasville Medical Center (35 bed adult unit) in Thomasville, NC
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
- Current MD license in appropriate state
- Current DEA license required
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Patient population: 18+ for acute care
- Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
- Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
