Forklift Driver / Material Handler

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20/HR

Armada Staffing Group is seeking experienced and safety-minded Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers for an opportunity in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring accurate placement of materials.

• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

• Transport products to designated warehouse or production areas.

• Assist fabricators with loading fabrication fixtures as needed.

• Perform inventory transactions using scanners or manual logs.

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.

• Assist with inventory counts and stock management activities.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production and shipping goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required.

• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse, manufacturing, and fabrication facility.

• Exposure to varying temperatures, industrial equipment, and moderate noise levels.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
