Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

A large health system in South Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Provider for a great opportunity with their Gastroenterology team at one of their facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours/week, no nights/weekends/call
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
The Gastroenterology NP / PA will:
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments and perform thorough physician examinations focused on gastrointestinal health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including but not limited to lab work, imaging studies, and endoscopic procedures
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education
- Perform outpatient procedures as required
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
