PROVIDER ENROLLMENT COORDINATOR - 67056437

Salary: $38,264.07 to $41,990.00 Annually Requisition No: 869800 Agency: Agency for Persons with Disabilities Position Summary This professional position is responsible for the recruitment, enrollment, and maintenance of Medicaid Waiver applicants, issuance and renewal of Medicaid Waiver Service Agreements, processing provider expansion requests, and managing changes of ownership within APD iConnect. Responsibilities Review incoming Medicaid Waiver provider application packets and notify applicants of deficiencies within 30 days. Close applications and send notices of closure if complete application is not received within 45 days of deficiency notice. Maintain records of all correspondence with applicants in the provider record. Issue APD Initial Budget Waiver sign‑off notices to applicants for submission to the AHCA provider enrollment portal once a complete application is received and background clearance, education and experience are verified. Track provider progress through the AHCA application process, close out incomplete applicants, and notify the State Office Provider Terminations team. Draft, route and issue initial Medicaid Waiver Service Agreements for those who meet AHCA enrollment requirements. Enter and track MWSA dates in iConnect to ensure renewals are processed within designated time frames and agreements are in place prior to expiration. Ensure all renewal agreements meet enrollment prerequisites, including Level 2 background screening and current professional business liability insurance. Enter new providers into iConnect, adding MWSA and insurance expiration dates, and maintain provider records. Add residential licensed providers in ABC for room and board payment processing when required. Process requests for access to the AHCA Clearinghouse for provider applicants and maintain re‑screening compliance. Communicate with the State Office Background Screening unit regarding exemption packets and other screening matters. Provide technical assistance to providers regarding service provision requirements and enrollment qualifications. Refer providers to the TRAIN Florida unit for user account setup. Respond to provider inquiries in a timely manner regarding Medicaid Waiver enrollment qualifications and processes. Process requests for expansion with existing providers and submit expansion denial action requests to the State Office. Assist in the development and submission of Provider Agency Action Forms for providers considered for termination. Conduct provider recruitment activities as needed and target specific provider types. Participate in meetings, conference calls, training, workshops/workgroups, and other miscellaneous activities as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word). Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Maintain, monitor and utilize tracking systems. Understand and use the Medicaid Waiver Services iBudget Handbook to ensure compliance with minimum qualifications and ongoing enrollment requirements. Travel to conduct enrollment activities as needed. Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word).
