Director, Clinical Operations

Disc Medicine seeks a Director of Clinical Operations to lead execution of multiple Phase 2/3 clinical trials in a hybrid role based in Massachusetts. The position oversees study timelines, budgets, team management, and vendor oversight while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct execution of multiple global Phase 2/3 clinical studies aligned with enrollment targets
• Manage trial managers and clinical trial associates with line authority and expert guidance
• Develop and implement study plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with clinical teams
• Oversee strategic partners and vendors to ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and business objectives
• Track key performance indicators and communicate program status and issues to senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific or healthcare field
• Approximately 10 years of trial management experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO settings
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic data systems
• Demonstrated expertise in budget and resource management for clinical programs
• Strong written and oral communication skills with cross-functional collaboration ability
• Experience managing fully outsourced clinical trial models
