Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the recovery unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective recovery following anesthesia procedures. The nurse will coordinate and implement patient care plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality recovery services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with four 10-hour rotating shifts per week, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license, BLS Certification via American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS Certification via AHA, PALS Certification via AHA, and at least 0 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU); experience in a surgical services environment is a plus.
• Additional Information: The role is a backfill replacement for ongoing staffing needs. The position requires float within surgical services. Proper scrubs (graphite grey) are to be worn, and the facility enforces a professional dress code.
