Commercial HVAC Technician - Senior

Senior Commercial TechnicianWe are looking for a motivated Senior Commercial Technician to join our team. This position is designed for advanced technicians who are eager to bring newly installed HVAC systems online, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality system performance. You'll work as the critical bridge between installation and customer comfort, testing systems to manufacturer specifications and completing vital documentation while upholding our strict standards of excellence.About UsR&R Heating & Air Conditioning is a local family business. We support our people with structured training, direct investment, and a strong culture of promotion from within.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform start-up, testing, and verification of new HVAC equipment in commercial construction projects.Complete project controls wiring and system installations.Inspect installations for proper wiring, ductwork, and airflow prior to system start-up.Calibrate thermostats, verify refrigerant charge, and test equipment operation.Record system data and submit start-up documentation accurately and timely.Identify deficiencies or installation issues and coordinate corrections with the Installation Team.Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, code standards, and safety protocols.Provide excellent customer service and represent R&R professionally on all job sites.Maintain tools, company vehicle, and work area in a clean and organized manner.Update manufacturer systems and documents.Qualifications15+ years of HVAC experienceWashington Electrical O6A CertificationValid EPA CertificationGas Mech 1Idaho JourneymanValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.Understanding of HVAC system components, refrigerant charging, and electrical troubleshooting.Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)Nate CertificationGas Piping, electrical, or low-voltage experienceAbility to read job plans, blueprints, or layout drawingsUnderstanding of jobsite safety regulations and requirementsFamiliarity with Service TitanWhat We OfferClear career path and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive PayCEU/licensing reimbursementPaid time off and holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insuranceKayaks and paddleboards available for employee useEmployer Paid Life Insurance with EAPSeasonal Event Tickets401(k) with company matchA team-focused culture that values safety, accountability, and growthJoin the team that builds more than just HVAC systems—we build careers.
