Medical Assistant - CMA / MA

Job Description Job Summary:

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical procedures and strong proficiency with EMR systems to effectively assist providers and enhance patient experience. Responsibilities:

Perform EKGs, vital signs, and room patients efficiently.
Update patient charts and respond to provider messages accurately.
Assist with injections, immunizations, and other clinical tasks as required.
Prepare patients for exams and ensure all clinical documentation is complete.
Participate in EMR training sessions and adhere to compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

Possess a Medical Assistant (MA) certification or CMA credential.
Have prior experience with EPIC EMR systems.
Demonstrate excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
Be able to commute within a 30-45 minute radius of the location.
Capable of working 8a-4:30p shifts with flexibility for training sessions.
