Description

Job Summary - Members of the Outside Service Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service for our guests. Outside Service Team Members must give a positive first impression of the golf course as well as contribute to maintaining a functional course through guest assistance, cleaning of golf carts, and other appointed tasks.

Qualifications

Education and Experience - Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs. Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred. Previous experience in the golf industry preferred. Previous customer experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Detail oriented and thorough. Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests. Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way. Ability to drive a golf cart. Basic knowledge of golf operations. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to solve conflicts individually. Ability to work as part of a team effectively and efficiently.

Physical Demands - Ability to spend entire shift on feet and walking (sometimes running). Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and kneel while handling equipment. Ability to perform repetitive motions such as cleaning, retrieving balls, or setting up areas.

Working Conditions - Fast-paced, outdoor work environment, may include indoor as needed. Exposure to the elements to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun. Potentially noisy environment due to golf carts, equipment, and active driving range.
