Front Desk Receptionist/Surgery Scheduler

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduler to join our eye clinic team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing appointment scheduling and front office operations. Responsibilities include greeting patients, coordinating exam appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will work closely with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience. Strong communication, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Duties Responsibilities include entering information into patients Electronic Health Record, meeting with patients to go through surgical information, scheduling appointments and surgeries. Verifying patients’ insurance coverage is done with our electronic system. This position will work at both Baxter and/or Crosby locations. This position has optical benefits, eye exam benefits, vacation, and holiday paid time off after 3 months of employment!
