Job Summary

\n

\n
• The Sr. Manager of Domestic Compensation Finance within the Cable Networks Finance team will manage headcount and compensation planning for Domestic Cable Networks operations.
\n
• This is a highly visible leadership role requiring close collaboration across the organization, including executives from Human Resources (HR), Operating Groups, and Finance.
\n
• The candidate must serve as a finance domain expert on compensation expense, providing leadership in compensation planning, reporting, analysis, and metrics.
\n
• This role has financial oversight of a major component of Client’s annual operating expenses.
\n
• This position reports to the Vice President of Cable Networks FP&A.
\n

\n

Principal Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide financial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations supporting more than 1,000 staff employees.
\n
• Review commission payouts on a monthly basis.
\n
• Leverage financial systems to forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount for:
\n
• Monthly closes.
\n
• Quarterly closes.
\n
• Periodic forecasts.
\n
• Annual budgeting processes.
\n
• Long-range planning activities.
\n
• Provide leadership with information and insights to better plan and manage workforce costs.
\n
• Partner with Human Resources to align headcount reporting and related expenses with organizational changes.
\n
• Maintain strong working relationships with:
\n
• HR Operations.
\n
• Compensation & Benefits teams.
\n
• HR Systems teams.
\n
• HR Generalists.
\n
• Finance track leads by groups and departments.
\n
• Operating groups.
\n
• Represent the Finance organization on initiatives impacting headcount planning, compensation reporting, analytics, and workforce forecasting.

Basic Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
\n
• 6–8+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, and accounting-related experience.
\n
• Media industry experience preferred.
\n
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across various departments.
\n
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
\n
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
\n
• Strong decision-making abilities.
\n
