Educational Training Specialist – RN required Position Title: Educational Training Specialist – RN required Position Type: Temporary Part‑Time Salary: $53.65 per hour Responsibilities Conduct and/or teach workshops, seminars, and courses, using effective teaching techniques and classroom/workshop management. Develop new programs, workshops, seminars, courses, and syllabi; evaluate and revise existing programs as assigned. Select, maintain, and use materials, supplies, and equipment required for teaching, facilitating, and training. Maintain participant/student records, including intake test results and counseling notes; evaluate and report on progress and attendance. Provide objective advisement and tutoring to participants to assist in successful completion of the program. Schedule, post, and maintain office hours to aid participant progress. Collaborate with other faculty and staff to facilitate routine department operations and achieve departmental goals, including program accreditation. Participate in departmental, campus, and college meetings and serve on committees as required. Assist in developing proposals, budgets, and public relations activities and in facilitating routine department operations. Assist with extracurricular client activities as requested. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Four (4) years of relevant experience, including experience in a long‑term care facility. Current Delaware RN license. Knowledge of teaching techniques and methods. Knowledge of relevant subject matter in the discipline/department. Knowledge of counseling skills and techniques. Knowledge of community resources and how to access them. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to develop rapport with students and staff.
