Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Inspector for a leading manufacturer of semiconductors in the Eagan area . Position Details

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Location: Eagan, MN
• Schedule: Full-time

Job Summary


The Quality Inspector is responsible for testing and evaluating microelectronic, semiconductor, and hardware components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards. This role performs detailed visual inspections, precision measurements, and documentation to verify that products meet strict quality requirements for military, aerospace, and defense applications.


Essential Responsibilities


Visual and Microscopic Inspections

• Inspect wire bonds, die assemblies, packages, and other microelectronic components using high-powered optical microscopes.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, and workmanship issues through detailed visual examination.

Dimensional Verification

• Use calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges to verify component dimensions and tolerances.
• Ensure products meet blueprint specifications and engineering requirements.

Standards Compliance

• Verify compliance with applicable military standards (MIL-STDs), IPC guidelines, and customer specifications.
• Ensure products meet stringent quality standards required for military, aerospace, and defense programs.

Documentation and Reporting

• Accurately record inspection results, measurements, and quality data.
• Document non-conformances and quality concerns in company databases and tracking systems.
• Communicate inspection findings and quality issues to appropriate departments.

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience preferred.
• Experience using microscopes and precision measuring equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
