If you're motivated, dependable, and ready to keep operations moving, this is your opportunity to build a strong career in a growing environment.1st and 2nd Shift Positions Available with the Opportunity to Earn up to $23.50/Hour Based on Position/Shift.Position Summary:The Lead Distribution Outfitter trains, maintains, and oversees activities of department personnel by scheduling and assigning workflow, checking work for accuracy, analyzing and resolving work problems. They will train associates, assign duties, and monitor activity. This role will maintain an open line of communication with leadership. The Outfitter will be cross-trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.Essential Functions:Repetitively lifting up to 50 lbsEnsure associates are working in a safe manner at all times.Ensure housekeeping assignments are completed daily and associates maintain a clean work area throughout their day.Ensure all associates are fully trained on procedures and equipment and have the supplies needed to effectively complete assigned tasks.Ensure department processes and procedures are followed while adjusting labor needs to appropriately address work volumes and monitor consistent flow.Ensure associates are leaving and returning from breaks and lunch in a timely manner.Takes daily attendance as outfitters clock in and report absenteeism to Supervisor.Actively participates in daily department start-up meetings. In the event of supervisor's absence, conduct start-up meeting, covering daily priorities & goals, company updates, perform stretching exercises and conclude meeting with a focus on safety.Attends all Bass Pro provided management training classes to expand on job knowledge and growth potential.All other duties as assignedExperience/Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:Production standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of this position that are closely monitored.Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled.Represents oneself as an ambassador of our company and brandExperience and knowledge of multiple departmentsComfortable conducting presentations in group environmentStrong, proven leadership and motivational abilityMaintains a positive attitude and exceptional customer servicePossesses an ambitious driveDetail & quality orientatedExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of safety methods and proceduresTravel Requirements:Not required for this rolePhysical Requirements:Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.Independent Judgement:Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor.
