Build More Than Parts—Build a Career. Looking for a skilled manufacturing opportunity with competitive pay and a company that values quality, safety, and craftsmanship? We're seeking experienced Brake Press Operators to join a growing team! Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour1st & 2nd Shifts Available
Temp-to-Hire & Direct Hire Opportunities As a Brake Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating brake presses while maintaining high-quality production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate brake press equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and production documents
- Configure jobs and select appropriate tooling
- Perform and document machine maintenance as required
- Ensure quality inspections, sampling processes, and documentation are completed
- Identify and report equipment, tooling, or documentation issues
- Maintain defect-free production while meeting throughput goals
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of brake press setup and operation experience
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
- Understanding of bending processes and manufacturing practices
- Ability to safely lift and handle parts up to 35 lbs.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- High school diploma preferred but not required
