Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers  is seeking a Nurse Practitioner  to join our multi-specialty oncology practice in the East Valley. In this role, you’ll partner closely with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Patient Care

• Perform patient assessments, medical histories, and physical exams
• Manage oncology and chronic conditions, including treatment side effects
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs)
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope

 

Collaboration & Care Delivery

• Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and self-care
• Support timely, coordinated patient care across clinic and hospital settings

 

Patient Experience

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Develop survivorship care plans
• Build strong relationships with patients and families

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arizona through the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Current DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Oncology or related experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
