Purchasing Agent - QuickBooks purchasing experience required
Location: Tampa, FL 33634
Hours : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $24–$28/hr (based on experience)
Temp to Perm - Onsite
Position SummaryThe Purchasing Agent is responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking inventory needs, and coordinating with production and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials. This role requires strong procurement experience in the industrial sector and proficiency with QuickBooks purchasing .
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, issue, and track purchase orders
Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor files
Monitor inventory levels and support reordering of materials and supplies
Resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, or invoice problems
Work closely with production, warehouse, and administration to support daily operations
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document organization
Apply procurement best practices in a fast-paced industrial environment
3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Knowledge of pipes, valves, and fittings is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
