Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Our team includes Registered Nurses specializing in infusion services, a Certified Nursing Assistant and a dedicated Infusion Secretary.How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhy join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Health and Fitness CenterWhat we're looking forLicenses: Active North Carolina or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.Associate's degree required, BSN preferred.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferredRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
